WHITE MAN WALKING, a feature-length documentary for BBC Storyville and produced by Osun Group, premieres on BBC Four and iPlayer on May 27th to mark the fifth anniversary of George Floyd’s death. The film follows white filmmaker Rob Bliss as he walks across America wearing a Black Lives Matter t-shirt, confronting hostility, armed Trump supporters, and unexpected moments of connection along the way. 　　WHITE MAN WALKING follows one man’s extraordinary journey as he walks through Trump’s America all the way to Washington in a Black Lives Matter t-shirt after the killing of George Floyd. Bliss’ journey across a deeply divided America becomes both a powerful call for unity and a stark exploration of fear. As he meets people on both sides of the racial and social divide, moments of hostility are contrasted by rare but meaningful connections with those who choose to walk beside him. 　　The film explores the deep racial and ideological divide in America, asking why advocating for Black lives sparks such visceral anger, particularly in poor, rural white communities. It is both a deeply personal journey and a broader call for empathy and understanding.

Fans of classic game shows, which aired in the 1950s and early 1960s, could enjoy their favorites again with Game Show Network's "Black and White Overnight." Each night, three classic shows -- always from the Goodson-Todman library -- aired during the two-hour programming block. Most frequently seen were reruns of Beat the Clock (1950), "I've Got a Secret" (1952)_, Password (1961), To Tell the Truth (1956), What's My Line? (1950); some episodes of shows had not been seen since their original broadcasts (partly because of cigarette advertising, which has since been banned). Other shows which aired during the block included (but not limited to): Judge for Yourself (1953), Make the Connection (1955), _"Name's the Same, The" (1951)_, Number Please (1961) and Two for the Money (1952).

Mundy-Castle directs and executive produces this feature documentary, that explores an untold part of UK history when over 70,000 children from West African families, principally Nigerian, were unofficially fostered without regulation into white British families between the 1950s and 1990s, to help combat the issue of childcare for economic migrants. Natasha Dack of Tigerlily Productions co-produces with Doc Hearts. Funding came from the BFI Doc Society, in what is the BFI’s first ever feature-length documentary in association with Channel 5.
